Being and/or Time

Interview with philosopher Martin Heidegger, author of "Being and Time":

Interviewer: "Can you tell me what is the most important term in the title of your book, Being and Time? Is it Being or Time?"

Heidegger: "And."

Who said that philosophers can't be to the point? :)))

  1. beautiful,

    i love it!

...i made an analogous comment recently - on the Mystical post

smileys or not, it is indeed to the point, they are inseparable, Being AND Time

  2. That said, unfortunately Heidegger's famous book is about as accessible as a piece of granite ... I read it once. Or did I? I suppose I read it AND I didn't read it.
