Bola del Mundo

Ok, I know I dissed the Vuelta...The Racing Doldrums and The Cycles of Cycling...however,

...the race has developed such that today will be the definitive stage with the possibility for the red jersey, Vincezo Nibali, to be dethroned.  Journey man, Ezequeil Mosquera is in 2nd place and has looked good in the mountains.  Nibali was put under a bit of pressure last weekend on the "Queen Stage", lost a few seconds, but did not crack - good riding.  Mosquera is 50 sconds in arears, but with this profile...

...if he has the legs, if Nibali doesn't, 50 seconds is nothing...should be an exciting finale...

  1. ...and it was,

watched it this afternoon from the dvr...

mosquera attacked and nibali looked like he may crack, but he held together and recouped a 16 second gap to finish basically dead even...the final few kilometers were exciting indeed...
