Inspired by the founding of RPBP and sharing many of its postings I am venturing into Blog authorship with DesignMatters,
http://a2-inspiration.blogspot.com/. The Blog will be accessible from studio A2 web site as a format to express design and cultural issues I believe Matter.
Questions:
ReplyDeleteHow did you insert the Graphs, ie Gold?
How did you set up Cloud tracking?
Reconsidering "DesignMatters" blog title which I like but it seemed limited by the term "Design".
ReplyDeleteOption is "CreativeLiving" which I think is open to a broad range of post topics.
Would appreciate your thoughts wise Blog Master.
1.) go to the Design tab and click "add a gadget" ...for Gold, i used a "text box" and then grabbed the graph code from Kitco and pasted it in the text box.
ReplyDelete2.) Cloud is in the "add a gadget" collection. You must "label" your posts for them to show up in the Cloud.
3.) the red text on your blog does not work for me at all...too much contrast with the background, it kinda glares and makes it hard for me to read the red text...go more subtle - elegant design - oh Architect of the Matrix...:-)
Settled on " InspiredLIFE" for blog title.
ReplyDeleteRead the new Blog Statement I just entered.
Also just posted a tribute to Miles.
Good point on the Red text. Shawn made the same point.
I will try out options.
Do you know of any legal, copy write issues that pertain to Blogs?
Also forgive my change in identity from FastEddie. Since I am using the same google account I haven't set up seperateID yet.

...i'm sure that there are technical legal and copyright issues...
ReplyDeleteat least, always leave an attribution, and link to the copied material...
when it is a video embed, the link is already there - i.e. double click on the video and you are usually redirected to the source. when the copyright holder objects, youtube, for example blocks the link...
...having said that, no one is coming after you, unless you really hit a home run...
you will know when you are accused of having swedish "sex by surprise"...
Just noted MZ received TIME's "Person of the Year" For connecting more than half a billion people and mapping the social relations among them, and for changing how we all live our lives, Facebook co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg is TIME's 2010 Person of the Year.
ReplyDeleteSocial Media has chugged the world.
Friedmanism is now "The World is Digital"
RE: Blog
I have been having erratic problem of embedded Videos shifting position and overlapping text when you open the site.
On some of the videos when pasted into the HMTL box were too wide and I on occasion changed text in the code "Wide" to resize it. That worked visually but may account for shifting position issue???
Your thoughts.
